AURORA - Mayor Tom Weisner delivered his fifth State of the City address at the Paramount Theater last Thursday night, his first since winning re-election last month.

And while much of it was focused on the progress Aurora has made over the past four years, Weisner did announce one new downtown project. Developer Steve Arwady is poised to turn the 83-year-old Elks Club building at Stolp Avenue and Benton Street into a mixed-use condominium and restaurant development.
