Article: Lawmakers shift attention to wet bowling shoes

With the deadline for fixing the state's $12 billion budget deficit looming, Illinois senators briefly shifted their focus elsewhere Friday -- bowling shoes.

The Senate passed a bill 51-4 that aims to shield bowling alley owners from lawsuits by people who slip and fall because of going outside in their bowling shoes.
