"Visiting Mr. Green" pits an up-and-coming young executive against a crotchety old man in the Village Theatre Guild's latest production, which opens May 22 and runs weekends through June 13.

Jeff Baron's comedy brings a full measure of New York to the Village Theatre Guild's intimate Glen Ellyn playhouse.

"This play touched my heart when I first saw it," director Sue Keenan said, "but unlike many others, this one stayed with me. The characters are so real as they deal with family conflicts and relationships between generations. I think each audience member will find something to identify with."
