If you're among the sniffling, sneezing, weepy-eyed group of people who dread springtime, you're certainly not alone.
The allergy season has arrived, although it's unclear if it the sneezing and tearing-up is any worse than in previous years. "There's no real data saying things are bad," said Dr. Sanjiv Upadhyay, an ear, nose and throat specialist in the Rush-Copley Medical Group in Aurora. Likewise, Dr. Matthew Nickerson, an emergency room physician at Provena Mercy Medical Center in Aurora, said he has not seen that many people complaining of allergy symptoms.
