The College of DuPage Board of Trustees approved several bid packages during a recent meeting.
Amber Mechanical in Alsip will upgrade the heating and air conditioning system in the Physical Education Center's Natatorium. Amber's bid was $1,461,900. The environmentally friendly new equipment includes a dehumidification unit and a heat recovery system that will be used to heat the pool water. New lighting and audio systems also will be installed.
Mechanical Inc. in Freeport will cover the mechanical aspects of renovating the Berg Instructional Center and Student Resource Center, after submitting a bid of $1,785,000. The electrical work will be done by Kelso-Burnett Company of Rolling Meadows ...
