A walk through the halls of Minooka High School's central campus reveals a multitude of walls painted by former students-8-foot murals that reflect the thoughts and feelings of graduating seniors of many years gone by. There are 12 murals already in place.
The 13th mural is now being painted by four students who will be seniors at Minooka this fall. Kristin Adamkiewicz, Ana Orozco, Allison Rhodes and Mick Quinn were selected by MCHS art teacher Dana Becker to be the ones to leave a bit of the 2010 graduating class behind.
"It's an honor," said Ana. "We are able to leave our mark on our school; show our feelings about what our high school experience was like."
