Article: Antioch's Run for Freedom will be held on July 4 RUNNING

The 15th annual Run For Freedom 3.1-mile road race in Antioch will be held on Saturday, July 4.

There also will be a 3.1-mile walk. Cost is $25 in advance and $30 on race day. The first 1,200 registrants will receive a T-shirt. To register, see Web site www.sbotl.com.

The "sbotl" stands for State Bank of The Lakes, which is a key sponsor of the event.

6.2-mile run in Kenosha

The 32nd annual Firecracker 6.2-mile run and 3.1-mile run/walk will be held on Saturday, June 27, at the Kenosha YMCA (720 59th Place).

Cost is $18 for pre-registration and $25 on the day of race. Runners can sign up at Web site www.active.com.
