CIRCUIT COURT: STATE WANTS CALIF.-BASED AIDS 'CHARITY' DISSOLVED
Attorney General Lisa Madigan filed a complaint Thursday in Cook County Circuit Court requesting the California-based Center for AIDS Prevention organization be dissolved. Madigan accused the organization of taking charitable donations in Illinois even though its "charitable organization" status was revoked by the state in 1987.
