They remembered grand old Raceway Park on Saturday night at Illiana Speedway - ironically on what would have been late Raceway owner Pete Jenin's 92nd birthday. And let me tell you something. It was really something. Bob Pronger's orange-and-black No. 3, Ray Young's beautiful No. 99 Studebaker and the famous red No. 77 of Bud Koehler all rode again in a vintage car race sponsored by longtime Chicagoland competitor Bill McEnery. The event honored the history of the Blue Island quarter-mile asphalt oval, which hosted racing from 1938 through 2000.
