U.S., Canada, Spain are biggest cell phone users

Cell phone users in the U.S., Canada and Spain like to yak -- their cell phone bills are the highest in the world, a report said Wednesday. Why? People are increasingly ditching their land-line phones for cell phones, and in North America, cell phone users usually pay to receive calls, according to the report by Paris-based Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development. In Europe, cell phone service is cheaper than in the United States, while Italy has the most mobile phones with 150 mobile subscribers for every 100 people.
