I'm never again going to waste my time playing Liars Poker. Instead of looking for a full house or four aces in the serial numbers on dollar bills, I'll look for Stars, Radars, Broken Ladders, Sequentials, and Solids, all terms that Rob Anderson, co-owner of Me & Dad's Toys, explained to me.
The morning I chatted with Anderson, I'd been to the bank to get some money. Anderson examined my bills and found a ten-dollar bill that was a star note, which indicates the note was a replacement for a note that had been printed with a mistake. He took my star note and gave me back a ten plus a buck, a nice 10 percent return in an hour. Radars are palindromes. The serial number reads the same backward ...
