GOLF: Struggling Stolz, Chalmers eye Las Vegas jackpot
LAS VEGAS, Nevada, Oct 9 AAP - Needing to make some big money fast, Australians Andre
Stolz and Greg Chalmers are well-placed to hit the US PGA Tour jackpot in Las Vegas.
Stolz has endured a miserable rookie year on the tour and lies a distant 217th on the
money list but he could turn it around tomorrow after climbing to equal second place in
the Michelin Championship.
The 34-year-old New South Welshman shot a year's-best 65 at TPC at Summerlin today
following earlier scores of 67 67 to reach 16-under 199 and trail leader Tom Lehman by
one stroke.
