Advocates for victims of domestic violence worry that too many offenders are being placed in anger management courses. Sounds strange, right?
The problem is that anger is not the only factor in domestic abuse. In fact, it's much more complicated than that, and offenders who are directed to these courses might not be getting the help they need.
The federal Office of Violence Against Women has now prohibited the use of grant money for anger management programs and instead will fund other programs ...
