(The Daily Vidette) (U-WIRE) NORMAL, Ill. -- After the several minutes of applause ended, Michelle Obama, wife of Democratic Senate candidate Barack Obama, spoke to a large crowd in the Bone Student Center Monday.
Democratic candidate for the House of Representatives in the 11th Congressional District Tari Renner introduced Michelle Obama.
"I've spent time with both Barack and Michelle and I tell you, Michelle is just as charismatic and charming, articulate, wonderful as Barack," Renner said.
However, Renner kept his introduction short.
