It's a big day for Portland's Taye brothers ; Ayalew Taye pulls away from his younger brother, Sintayehu, to win the Class A individual title.

First came Ayalew and Sintayehu Taye, then everyone else. Portland High School's brother tandem set the pace early and maintained it throughout the 5-kilometer race Saturday at the state cross country championships at Troy Howard Middle School.
Ayalew, a junior, won the state Class A title in 15 minutes, 39.58 seconds, and Sintayehu, a freshman, finished second in 15:50.40.
