Fed: Wool industry leaders meet for crisis talks
A wool growers' spokesman says plunging prices and an international boycott threat
have plunged the Australian wool industry into crisis.
Australian Wool Growers Association leader CHICK OLSSON says the industry is facing
an international boycott which would put billions of dollars worth of exports in jeopardy.
He's told an emergency meeting of wool growers in Sydney that 22 retailers are thinking
of joining a ban on Australian wool by American retailer Abercrombie and Fitch.
