Bosnian Serb police said Friday that NATO troops detained two men in a village in northeast Bosnia, one of whom was the brother of a war-crimes suspect at large.

"The troops detained Tomislav Popovic and Nedjeljko Lozanovic and took them to an unknown location," Dragomir Peric, a spokesman for the police, told The Associated Press.

He said the detention took place Thursday in the nearby village of Canici, some 70 kilometers (43 miles) northeast of Sarajevo.
