A Serbian wanted for war crimes allegedly committed during the Bosnian war is openly living in a town near Belgrade, despite international pressure on Serbia to extradite war crimes suspects to a U.N. tribunal, a radio station reported Saturday.

Milan Lukic has been indicted by the U.N. war crimes tribunal in The Hague, Netherlands, and convicted in absentia by a Serbian court, but lives freely in Obrenovac, about 30 kilometers (18 miles) southwest of Serbia's capital, Belgrade, independent B92 radio reported. The station gave no other details of Lukic's life in Obrenovac.
