Article: Study: U. Texas-Arlington graduation rate too low

(The Shorthorn) (U-WIRE) ARLINGTON, Texas -- A committee is close to submitting a preliminary proposal to the provost with suggestions on improving the University of Texas' graduation rate.

Created early in the semester, the university administration established the Graduation Task Force Committee to assess factors contributing to as well as finding ways to improve the university's low graduation rate.

At the end of this semester, the task force will provide Provost Dana Dunn with a progress report of short-term initiatives before submitting a final recommendation at the end of spring 2005.
