The day began with the radiant glow of the morning sunshine, the smell of
the fresh spring air was obvious, and a light breeze complimented the
morning; a beautiful church building filled to capacity as the bridal pair
stands before the altar facing the pastor! The pastor then begins the
marriage vows with the pair repeating appropriately, and then he says to
the groom, "I........, take you....... To be my wife, to live with you and
to love from this time forward "until death do us part!"
Pastors, have we misunderstood the correct application of this vow?
Something seems to have gone drastically wrong in many of our local
congregations! As I follow scripture ...
