A new educational exhibit, "Genome: The Secret of How Life Works," is on
display at the New Detroit Science Center from through Dec. 23.

The traveling exhibit, sponsored by Pfizer, Inc., teaches visitors about
the real facts of life. It explores the nature, history and impact of genes
through interactive, family-oriented hands-on exhibits. Some of the
mysteries of genes are uncovered, including mapping of the human genome (a
person's entire set of genes) and potential benefits of gene research.
