A Brazilian airline and a Peruvian investment fund have joined forces to create a new regional Peruvian airline.
At a news conference held Tuesday in Rio de Janeiro, OceanAir Lineas Aereas and Peruvian investment fund Fondo de Inversiones Sustentables announced the creation of Wayra Peru, which is slated to start operations in March.
With an initial investment of US$7 million (euro5.13 million), Wayra Peru will begin operating with four leased Fokker 100 jets, OceanAir President German Efromovich said at a press conference in Rio de Janeiro.
