Lenovo Group to Move Head Office to US

BEIJING, Dec 29, 2004 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- China's largest PC maker Lenovo Group is making its way to be multinational after acquiring IBM's PC unit by USD 1.75 billion. Sources indicate that the ambitious company plans to move its headquarters from Beijing, capital of China, to Armonk, New York State, where is the head office of IBM. Moreover, Lenovo Group has a bolder idea to appoint some IBM officials as the managers for its business in the US.
