Last Thursday, Najee Ali was convicted of felony hit-and-run and perjury in
Torrance Superior Court and according to Deputy District Attorney Donna Mc
Clay, Ali was sentenced to 270 days in jail, to begin on November 15. He
must return to court on December 1, for a restitution hearing. If Ali fails
to turn himself in on November 15 to begin his jail time, he could face up
to four years and eight months in state prison. Ali was originally arrested
and charged with two counts of perjury and two counts of false personation
for obtaining two driver's license by using someone else's name. While he
