Jamie Foxx gives an astoundingly accurate depiction of the blind R&B
legend, Ray Charles, who died in June, but not before meeting Foxx and
giving the 36-year-old actor his blessing for 'Ray.'

For 15 years the filmmakers struggled to get the movie made about the life
of Ray Charles. Finally, the money was there and the movie was a go. Now
they had to find the right actor to play the role.
