Troubled theme park operator Euro Disney SCA said Tuesday that increased spending per visitor at its French theme park lifted revenue 3 percent in the fiscal first quarter to the end of December.

Revenue came in at euro269 million (US$353 million) compared with euro262 million a year earlier, excluding the effects of selloffs, acquisitions, currency fluctuations and accountancy changes.

Revenue from the Disneyland Paris and Walt Disney Studios parks outside the French capital rose 4 percent to euro137 million (US$180 million).
