Jamaica is more than just an island full of beautiful white beaches,
director of tourism Paul Pennicook said, it's a country full of history and
culture.
"There is a spiritual vibe you get here and nowhere else," Pennicook said.
"We have a pride for our people."
Tourists can experience the culture and history of Jamaica through a
variety of tours that are provided through the island's resorts. Also,
Jamaica's tourist board offers a unique meet-the-people program, which
allows tourists to meet Jamaican natives with common interests of their
own.
