Oil prices have hit another record high, $44 a barrel yesterday. OPEC officials say they are ready to dip into their spare oil production. Another factor affecting crude oil prices is the fate of the Russian oil giant Yukos, embattled with its former CEO and largest shareholder on trial for fraud and tax evasion. Yesterday the Russian government said Yukos could use its bank accounts to fund day-to-day operations, but now that decision has apparently been reversed. ...
