Article: New Hope offers Kansas State U. students home for contemporary praise service

(Kansas State Collegian) (U-WIRE) MANHATTAN, Kan. -- They have found a home on Sunday mornings. Of the 700 worshippers gathering at New Hope Community Church each weekend, over half are college students.

Students are greeted by smiling traffic directors who make sure that the hundreds of cars can fit in the parking lot. Upon entering the school, they see a welcome table with volunteers holding several pamphlets about New Hope.

Chairs are lined up, in the unusual atmosphere of a school gym, around a stage and projector screen. Most people file in wearing jeans and holding a Bible.
