Vic: The Royal Australian Air Force Roulettes
The Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) aerobatic display team known as the Roulettes:
* The seven-member elite formation team is used to showcase air force flying skills
at public events.
* The team flies six aircraft, with the seventh member responsible for public relations,
providing commentary during exhibitions and flying the spare aircraft.
* The Roulettes flew their first public display in December 1970 at RAAF Base Point Cook.
* The name 'Roulettes' takes its origins from one of the early manoeuvres performed
by the first team.
