The Motor City Bowl football game is fast becoming an eagerly anticipated
preview of NFL talent. As the game enters its eighth year, 47 former Motor
City Bowl players are currently on NFL rosters, including some of the
leading names in the sport.

On the third offensive play of the first Motor City Bowl, Minnesota Vikings
star Randy Moss set the tone as he streaked 80 yards for a Marshall
touchdown; then with just 30-seconds left in the game, Saints running back
Deuce McAllister scored the game-winning touchdown for Ole Miss. Since that
time, the Motor City Bowl has continued to offer glimpses of future NFL
success.
