European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso told Bosnia's Prime Minister Adnan Terzic Tuesday his country stood to gain from added aid and trade if it fully cooperated in handing over indicted war crimes suspects to the international war crimes tribunal.
Barroso said "good cooperation, increased cooperation" with the tribunal in The Hague, Netherlands was the "key element" in forging closer ties between Bosnia and the 25-nation bloc.
