(The Miami Student) (U-WIRE) OXFORD, Ohio -- This past week Ohio Supreme Court Justice, Alice Robie Resnick was arrested for driving while under the influence of alcohol after being pulled over by a State Highway Patrol. She failed a field sobriety test, but was only arrested after refusing to take a valid breathalyzer test. She pleaded guilty to a DUI charge as well as a marked lanes violation that came as a result of "erratic driving."
The incident will cost Resnick at least a three month suspension from the bench with the possibility that she will removed from her position at the end of that period by the other justices. Such a removal would ...
