(The North Wind) (U-WIRE) MARQUETTE, Mich. -- When I was a freshman in high school, I was forced to watch a live-birth video as part of a biology lesson in science class. I'm pretty sure this was actually our high school's best sex-education tool. After all, seeing a woman scream in agony as an anxious father looks on at the bloody mess of his child's birth really hammers home the idea that sex can wait.

Truthfully though, my high school's health program did an excellent job of educating teens on the dangers of unprotected sex and providing accurate information about contraceptive devices and how to prevent the spread of sexually transmitted diseases.
