The big sport utility vehicle is in a slump. But the big pickup truck? It's going full tilt.While sales of utility vehicles continued to grow last year as buyers sought smaller models, sales of larger SUVs like the Ford Explorer, Hummer H2 and Chevy Suburban appear to have reached a plateau. But for the first time in a decade, growth in sales of full-size pickup trucks outpaced the growth of sport utility vehicles over all, according to an analysis by Ford Motor.
