It's going full tilt.While sales of utility vehicles continued to grow last year as buyers sought smaller models, sales of larger SUVs like the Ford Explorer, Hummer H2 and Chevy Suburban appear to have reached a plateau. But for the first time in a decade, growth in sales of full-size pickup trucks outpaced the growth of sport utility vehicles over all, according to an analysis by Ford Motor. Sales of full-size pickups rose 6.6 percent last year from 2003, compared with overall SUV sales growth of 4.3 percent, data from Ward's AutoInfoBank show. What is more, American ...
