A MALAYSIAN-KOREAN joint venture has set up a plant in Shah Alam to produce LCD and plasma monitors and TVs for export. DICK TAN writes.

AIC Display, a Malaysian-Korean joint venture, which was set up in July 2003, recently launched the first Malaysian plasma and LCD display plant in Shah Alam.
Chairman Mohd Ali Bawal said the wholly-owned subsidiary of AIC Corporation Bhd is involved in the design, development and manufacturing of thin film transistor (TFT) LCD and plasma monitors and TVs.
