IBM and Lenovo Group to Closely Cooperate with US Congress

US, Feb 17, 2005 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Andrew Sotiropoulos, vice presidentof IBM's PC Division in Asia-Pacific Region, revealed on February 15, 2005 that IBM and Lenovo Group of China would closely cooperate with the State Congress of the US to get the approval from the US government for the deal that Lenovo Group acquired the PC unit of IBM. He also said that the PC sectors of IBM and Lenovo Group were still run respectively but the twowould integrate into one in management from May 2, 2005, if things go as they wish.
