NSW: Police crackdown on street racers

SYDNEY, March 7 AAP - More than 130 car enthusiasts have become the target of a major
police crackdown on anti-social behaviour on NSW roads.

Increasing incidents of street racing in Sydney's industrial and residential areas
have prompted police to swoop.

Police have issued 67 drivers with traffic infringements, 55 vehicles were picked up
for speeding and 12 drivers were issued with defect notices.
