The Cleveland Museum of Art will close for the first six months of next year as part of a six-year, $258 million (euro195 million) expansion and renovation.
Permanent collection galleries will close by June and the entire museum will shut down from January to June 2006. The trustees voted unanimously Monday to proceed with the project.
