It is interesting how a casual conversation with a friend or an
acquaintance can trigger thoughts for a back in the day column. Such was
the case a few weeks ago when I was talking with one of my very close
friends who, in spite of his age, still thinks that he is a "player." Thus,
on this particular evening, he was sharing with me his many escapades over
the past six months when I pointed out to him that the activity he was
