(The Lariat) (U-WIRE) WACO, Texas -- Baylor University plans to decentralize its continuing education program by June 1 to increase effectiveness and efficiency in administrative services.

"This is only part of an ongoing process to realign services in the administration to get in line with university resources," said Larry Brumley, associate vice president of external relations. "Some of the programs currently offered will be administered by other parts of the university."

Annette Lindsey, director of continuing education, said she was "very disappointed by the university's decision" to decentralize the continuing education program.
