THE symbol of Ireland, the Harp, long associated with Ireland's premier
brewery is as true now as it's always been. The renowned Guinness Stout is
one of Ireland's shining jewels, and has been since its founder, Arthur
Guinness, set about building his brewery in the year 1759.
The history of Guinness is as rich and delectable as the black stuff
itself, and its success story is worth celebrating. And that's exactly what
North American executives plan on doing in the next few weeks, as they've
arranged a series of "Legacy Nights" in the Greater New York Metropolitan
Area to pay tribute to Guinness and two other long established and
