COSTA MESA, CA - Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, one of America's
greatest dance companies and a true national treasure, returns to the
Orange County Performing Arts Center on February 1-6 with a program that
includes two West Coast premieres, a new production of an Ailey classic and
a number of repertory favorites. Under the leadership of Artistic Director
Judith Jamison, the Company is dedicated to promoting the uniqueness of the
African-American cultural experience and the preservation and enrichment of
the American modern dance heritage. Morgan Stanley is the national sponsor
of Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater.
