Sinopec Raises Refined Oil Factory Price

CHINA, Apr 04, 2005 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- On April 1, Sinopec, one of the biggest oil producers and suppliers in China, decided to raise its factory prices of gasoline, diesel oil, naphtha, which illustrates that domestic oil retail price increase last time did not alleviate the cost pressure that international crude oil price growth imposed on Chinese refineries.

Now, its gasoline factory price increases CNY 300 per ton, diesel oil price grows CNY 150 per ton, and naphtha grows CNY 550 per ton, after adjustment.

However, international refined oil price still remains CNY 1,000 higher than that in China.
