(The Crimson White) (U-WIRE) TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- For a man who has made over 35 films, nearly all of them masterpieces in their own right, Woody Allen has done his fair share of quality work over the course of his career that would warrant a justified retirement.

Folks, including myself, would be a sad sort if Allen called it quits, however, especially when it seems the guy still enjoys making movies, as he consistently knocks one out just about every year.

Since his last "great" film, "Sweet and Lowdown," though, I can say the value of the pantheon filmmaker's work has taken a minor decline compared to his many delightfully entertaining films of yore.
