China's First Health Insurance Company Starts Business
BEIJING, Apr 13, 2005 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- PICC Health Insurance Co., Ltd. (PICC Health Insurance) started business in Beijing on April 8,2008.
PICC Health Insurance is the first specialized health insurancecompany in the country. The company was jointly funded by five companies, with CNY 1 billion in registered capital.
PICC Holding Company, which controls a leading property, and casualty insurance company PICC Property and Casualty Company Limited, takes a 51 percent stake in PICC Health Insurance.
