(Technician) (U-WIRE) RALEIGH, N.C. -- Folic acid is an essential B-vitamin that has quickly found its way into the limelight.
The March of Dimes Collegiate Council is hosting a Folic Acid Breakfast on Wednesday at North Carolina State University to help inform students about the importance of adding folic acid to their diets.
Members of this council are trained as folic acid peer educators through the Point-4-the-Future program with the University of North Carolina-Greensboro School of Nursing.
