Striker Diego Tardelli netted a goal in each half Wednesday to help Brazil's Sao Paulo beat Quilmes of Argentina 3-1 and reach first place in Group 3 of the Copa Libertadores.

After the match, Quilmes defender Leandro Desabato was escorted off the field by police and later arrested after allegedly insulting Sao Paulo players with racist taunts during the match.
