China's Industrial Companies Realize Profits of CNY 276.4 Bln
BEIJING, Apr 27, 2005 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Chinese state-owned industrial enterprises and other enterprises with annual sales over CNY 5 million realized profits of CNY 276.4 billion in the irst quarter of 2005, a gain of 17.2 percent year on year.
Meanwhile, the composite index of economic efficiency of the enterprises rose by 7.76 percent to 162.77.
The state-owned and government-controlled enterprises produced profits up to CNY 144.3 billion in the first three months, surging 18 percent, according to the National Bureau of Statistics.
