(The Reveille) (U-WIRE) BATON ROUGE, La. -- For many people, breakfast can only be washed down with one drink -- milk.

But for one Louisiana State University doctoral student, the best way to compliment a traditional breakfast is not from a cow. It's a tall, cold glass of soy milk.

Janette Saidu, a graduate student in the Department of Food Science, is conducting her doctoral research on soy milk made in the University's Dairy Store.

Saidu said she hopes to improve the amount of health benefits found in the breakfast beverage.

"We are trying to increase the amount of protein in soy milk so that people can drink less and get the same amount of benefits," ...
